Enhanced Men is a New Zealand telehealth clinic built for the men who keep falling through the cracks of a standard 15-minute GP visit. We focus on the four areas of men's health where a longer consult, the right tests and a doctor who actually knows the territory make the biggest difference: testosterone, hair, erections, and the harm-reduction edge cases most clinics won't touch. We see patients NZ-wide by secure video, with a registered office in Mount Eden, Auckland for the rare in-person needs.
What we do
We run four service lines. TRT — investigation, prescribing and long-term monitoring of testosterone replacement therapy for men with clinically diagnosed hypogonadism. Hair loss — finasteride, dutasteride, oral and topical minoxidil, and PRP referrals, framed around what the evidence actually shows. Erectile dysfunction — a proper workup for ED in any age group, including the vascular and hormonal causes a five-minute GP visit will miss. Enhanced athlete care — judgement-free monitoring and harm reduction for men who are already using performance-enhancing compounds and want a registered NZ doctor in their corner.
How we work
Every patient follows the same path. You book an initial consult online. We order the right bloods through your local lab — usually NZ Labs, Pathlab, or Awanui — so you turn up to the consult with data, not guesswork. We meet on video for 30 minutes, work through symptoms, history, and results, and agree a plan. From there it's ongoing care — prescriptions, recheck bloods, dose adjustments, and email access between consults. Where treatment qualifies under Pharmac funding criteria (parts of TRT and hair loss care do, parts don't) we route prescriptions through the funded pathway. Where it doesn't, we tell you up front what private cost looks like.
Who you'll see
Enhanced Men's lead clinician is an NZ-registered doctor with a special interest in men's health, NZ-trained, and bound by Medical Council of New Zealand standards. We deliberately don't put a personality cult on the front of this clinic — the work is the work, and the guidelines are the guidelines.
What we believe
Evidence-based first. We use a combination of NZ and international guidance — BPAC NZ for local context, alongside the European Association of Urology (EAU), the American Urological Association (AUA), and the British Society for Sexual Medicine (BSSM) for international consensus — before reaching for forum advice. No upsells. We don't sell supplements, peptides, or panels we wouldn't order on ourselves. Harm reduction over moralising. If you're already using compounds, we'd rather monitor you safely than refuse to engage. Plain English. If we can't explain it without jargon, we don't understand it well enough.
Where we are
Mount Eden, Auckland for the occasional in-person need; telehealth NZ-wide for everything else. Most patients never need to step into the office.
