ENHANCED ATHLETES

    Harm reduction for PED users.

Bodybuilding bloods (steroid blood tests), bloods on cycle, protocol review and harm-reduction monitoring — telehealth from clinicians who understand enhanced training. Judgement-free, NZ-wide.

Important: Enhanced Men does not prescribe, supply, source, or condone the use of anabolic-androgenic steroids or any other performance-enhancing substance not approved for medical use in New Zealand. Our role is discouragement from use, general health consults, harm reduction, bloodwork if indicated, primary prevention prescriptions if indicated — not supply. • Lab results and interpretation
    • Prescriptions if clinically indicated

    How It Works

    01

    Book

Choose a time that suits — all consults are telehealth across NZ.

    02

    Consult

30-minute review of your results, history and goals with a clinician.

    03

If clinically indicated, complete the 16-marker panel at your nearest collection centre.

    04

    Treatment

Lab analysis, primary prevention prescriptions, symptom management, specialist referrals, follow-up plan.

Health Risks of Unmonitored PED Use

Without regular blood work and medical supervision, PED use can silently damage multiple organ systems. Early detection is key to preventing irreversible harm.

    Cardiovascular

    • Left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH)
    • Elevated blood pressure
    • Dyslipidaemia — suppressed HDL, elevated LDL
    • Increased risk of MI and stroke
    • Polycythaemia (thickened blood)

    Hepatic (Liver)

    • Elevated liver enzymes (AST/ALT)
    • Cholestasis from oral compounds
    • Peliosis hepatis (rare but serious)
    • Drug-induced liver injury (DILI)

    Haematological

    • Elevated haematocrit & haemoglobin
    • Increased blood viscosity
    • Thromboembolic events (DVT, PE)
    • Suppressed immune function

    Neuropsychiatric

    • Mood instability and irritability
    • Anxiety and depressive episodes
    • Insomnia and sleep disruption
    • Dependency and withdrawal syndrome

    Endocrine & Reproductive

    • HPG axis suppression
    • Testicular atrophy
    • Infertility / azoospermia
    • Oestrogen-related side effects (gynaecomastia)
    • Adrenal insufficiency (with certain compounds)

    Renal & Metabolic

    • Elevated creatinine and reduced eGFR
    • Insulin resistance and glucose dysregulation
    • Electrolyte imbalances
    • Rhabdomyolysis risk (with extreme training loads)

    What We Monitor

Our blood panels are tailored for enhanced athletes — going well beyond a standard GP check-up. When clinically indicated, we track the markers that matter most for your safety:

    Full blood count (FBC)
    Haematocrit & haemoglobin
    Liver function (LFTs)
Renal function (U&Es, Cystatin C, ACR, eGFR)
    Lipid profile (HDL/LDL/TG)
    Fasting glucose & HbA1c
    Testosterone (total & free)
    Oestradiol (E2)
    LH & FSH
    Prolactin
    Thyroid function (TSH, fT4)
    PSA
    Iron studies & ferritin
    CRP / inflammatory markers
    Vitamin D

    What it costs

From $149 for the initial review.
    Follow-up reviews $149.
12-month subscription with quarterly reviews for $620.

Self-request "sports panels" sold online are fixed bundles. A doctor-led review requests only the markers your phase needs, at your local lab, and reads them with you.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Yes.

Yes — PCT principles and bloodwork-led restoration are part of what we do.

    No, telehealth-only across NZ.

We'll talk through them honestly and build a plan to address them.

Yes — bodybuilding bloods (steroid blood tests) are the core of the service: hormones, haematocrit, lipids, liver and kidney markers and more, requested at your local NZ lab and reviewed with a doctor.

The initial review is $149 and follow-up reviews are $149, or $620 for the 12-month plan with four quarterly reviews. You pay the lab directly for privately requested tests — we request only the markers your phase actually needs rather than a fixed bundle, and we explain every line of the result.
